The Homebird Sessions: Elaine Lennon + Guest Jesse Terry
Elaine created the online version of the Songbird Sessions at the start of the lockdown in 2020 as a way of maintaining contact with her fans.

Since her first live appearance in December 2018 and collecting a prestigious Danny Kyle Award to her CV, Elaine has matured into a performer who is being tipped by many of her peers as someone who has rightly earned “not to be missed” status.

Winning comparisons to Carole King, Stevie Nicks, Linda Ronstadt, Belinda Carlisle, Carly Simon, Adele and Lori McKenna, this Glaswegian mum has demonstrated a real talent to write in a way that flows through genres and effortlessly across timelines, her music connecting with people in ways few other things in this world can.

The show's intention is to create an intimate and welcoming space for Elaine and her guests to connect with audiences as they take turns to perform acoustic versions of their songs, sharing stories behind them alongside gems of wisdom from their musical journeys.

Elaine will be joined by Jesse Terry. Jesse is a singer/songwriter with an uncanny ability to weave tales of travel and homecoming, of sorrow and of redemption, into songs that are simultaneously timeless and fresh.

Home is now the coastal village of Stonington, Connecticut, but Terry’s music reflects an amalgam of influences, from Nashville to Laurel Canyon.

His melodic and lyrically-driven Americana fits naturally on a playlist between cuts from Josh Ritter, Jackson Browne, Ryan Adams and Neil Young.

“A must for music fans and writers everywhere - relaxed, warming and welcoming”
